Everyone is welcome at Cityscape Vets on Excelsior, regardless of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic position. Above all, we shall do everything in our power to foster an inclusive and emotionally healthy environment for both clients and medical employees.

We also recognise that many situations in our clinic might be emotionally charged. There is, however, no excuse for any sort of physical or verbal abuse, swearing, bullying, or threatening behaviour directed against our veterinarians or other hospital personnel. Such behaviour is grounds for termination of the Veterinary-Client-Patient Relationship, according to the College of Veterinarians of Ontario (CVO). As a result, if any of the aforementioned behaviours occur, we will no longer be able to provide veterinary services to you or your pets.

Client Code of Conduct

We strive to maintain a welcoming and safe atmosphere that fosters trust and respect for all people and pets.
We will not accept the following behaviors:

● Verbal abuse, malicious or harmful statements about others, profanity or disrespect
● Any form of harassment
● Refrain from discriminatory comments or actions
● Intimidation tactics and/or making threats
● Allowing your pet to intimidate or threaten a person or another pet
● Public disclosure of another’s private information
● Suspicion of being under the influence of alcohol or behavior-altering drugs
● Failure to comply with requests of our staff, including leashing/restraining your pet

If your behaviour becomes problematic, we reserve the right to terminate services immediately. This policy is strictly enforced, and noncompliance will result in corrective measures such as being asked to leave the property and possibly being involved with law enforcement.
